Local-First Processing

Drag-and-drop conversions stay inside your browser tab. No source files, previews, or output assets are uploaded to a server managed by WebPtoPNG.

Temporary Files & Retention

Generated PNG or JPG files live only in memory until you download them. Closing or refreshing the page clears every pending conversion.

Browser Storage & Cookies

We store lightweight preferences—such as your last used output format or dark-mode toggle—in localStorage. These values never leave your device and can be cleared with your browser cache.

• No session cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting scripts are injected.
• Deleting browser data or using a private window removes all saved settings.

Diagnostics & Metrics

If you opt in to share anonymous diagnostics, we capture basic performance data (conversion time, browser version, and error states). No filenames or pixel data are logged. Opt-in status is stored client-side so you can disable it anytime.

Third-Party Services

WebPtoPNG does not embed ad networks or marketing trackers. When you click an external tutorial or documentation link, you will leave the app and their privacy terms will apply.

Your Choices

You can clear cached conversions through your browser, disable diagnostics via the settings menu, or reach out for data questions. We will respond to verified requests within 48 hours.

• Request an export or deletion of diagnostic logs by emailing us.
• Use incognito mode for one-off conversions on shared computers.
• Audit the app bundle: everything runs locally, so you are free to inspect the code.
